Summer gingham party
Today's party is using super bright fun colors: island indigo, daffodil delight, and melon mambo. The stamp set is the same one used last night "blooming marvelous " and the designer paper is gingham party. Love the colors seems like I need to be slurping on a big piece of watermelon . Happy stamping! Remember all of these products are available at www.stampendous.stampinup.net

Pizza anyone?
i have been playing with mini pizza boxes and cards today. Again, one o the super hinges about paper crafting is that the possibilities are only limited to your imagination. I have made 2 different ones in contrasting color families.
See you Monday! Happy stamping Here's the details on the box:
1 sheet paper 6x11
Score longways on 1 and 5
Score sideways on 1,5,6 and 10
At the intersections of the scores cut on both sides so the box will fold.
Tape the box together and decorate the outside. Box measures 4x4 and the cards I side are 3 1/2 x3
There are several videos on YouTube that show you step by step but I can't load them due to computer issues.
Here are my samples

Dry embossing with ink
I am so in love with the way this card turned out! I took the dotted Swiss embossing folder and inked one side and then ran it through the cuttlebug. I then re-inked with another color and then kept going until I achieved the look I was going for. After 4 colors sky blue , pear pizazz ,blushing bride, and summer star fruit I was happy. The butterfly is one that I made yesterday sponging different colors together. The sentiment is from trust God which is quickly going to be my favorite go to set!

Sponged sweetness
Finally I Ok so here is the step by step of how I made my card today. I was having so much fun getting lost in sponges and paper I almost forgot about dinner :))I started with a plain piece of whisper white card stock cut 3 3/4 x5 I used blossom punch to cut out flower.
Next I used blushing bride , soft sky and pear pizazz ink with sponges to ink the paper up. Finally I mounted my sponged paper onto sky blue and then onto a blushing bride card base. I then took a flower that I punched and sponged earlier today and cut the center petals out of top and bottom to make the butterfly. Add a few stickles and voila !! A beautiful card.

Sympathetic but NOT drab
In making a sympathy card for a friend tonight, I relished in the fact that it turned out as bright an beautiful as she is! I realized that the sympathy cards. We usually make are more neutrals but they DON'T have to be. Our sympathy is expressed by our action to show support and Caring enough to be

Business cards and gift cards
Ok so today I was making small cards to stick my business cards into so I could pass them out to new people I meet. I was looking at the shape and size of it and it reminded me of the department store gift tags that used to come in boxes for birthdays and Christmas. At 2 1/4 x 4 1/4 they are perfect for using up scrap paper. I think I am going to incorporate some of these into the wrapping that I do next. Happy stamping!

Playing with subtles
Tonight I was playing with subtle colors and although I am not so sure I love this color combination, I tolerated it long enough to create 2 cards. For some reason the combo made me thoughtful and grateful (or it could be the fact that my dear oldest daughter turned into a teenager today) I have no idea where time goes. So please forgive my meloncholy Spirit today.
Also purple is one of her favorite colors. These two cards are paired together using very vanilla, wisteria wonder and calypso coral. I also threw in some pear pizazz for a spark of green. I hope you enjoy these the stamp sets are from simply sketched and trust God. These two are quickly becoming some of my favorite stamps

Playing with new paper and stamps..
I was beyond thrilled when the ups man stopped by not once but twice this week. That meant new goodies from the new Stampin up catalog. Tonight's post is for two new colors (island indigo is actually. Bring back) and the other is calypso coral . You will notice that I have layered these with very vanilla and chocolate chip. The sentiments are from a new set entitled true God and also simply sketched.

But when have you ever known me to be status quo? No tonight's card is a reflection of the weather we have had here in banal and for the last couple of days. Rain, rain and even more rain! Hope you enjoy the color combination of pacific point and melon mambo with image stamped on whisper white. I sed my stamp n write markers to color the image with two different tones. Playing with canvas
Tonight's post is something that I got bored and tried last night. I am really trying to stick to Color families so these colors are gum ball green, summer star fruit, and rich razzleberry. I love the richness of these colors yet they don't come on too wintery. This was a blank canvas that I decided to play with. ( note to self.... Heat set after finishing for A faster drying time). The stamps didn't stamp too well unless I put my Hand behind the canvas. Will definitely have to play around with this and other mediums as well. I used my stamp and write markers to fill in some of the color. The stamp set is again one of my favs and is secret garden.
Color combos
I was playing around with color yesterday as I sit and wait a couple of days for the ups man to bring my new order. What I discovered was the possibilities are endless.... Stampin up makes it so easy to mix colors because they have laid them out for you in families so they are guaranteed to coordinate when used together. Makes life a lot easier for me :) here is the card I made using tangerine tango, old olive and tempting turquoise . What is your favorite color combo?
